Working with the voice

Working with the voice and the vibration of the individual voice has always facinated me.
I am both a certified vocal coach -singing voice-contemporary, various genres and a speech therapist.

I furthermore have a passion for the vibration of sound and connecting and re-connecting people to their unique voices. Finding their authentic voice.

In working with the voice, I have many work tools that I have refined in my work for the past 30 years. It may include breath work, balancing energy, connecting to the body, examining thoughts and feelings concerning your voice, energy work, physical exercises and core tone work, vocal exercises and more.
As voice is inseparable from our mind and body, voice work is very closely connected to our feelings and our vibration and as such can be very psychological.
I work always with embodied voice, connectedness to the body.
As a singer and songwriter, I am very aware of the process of working with the voice.
I have loved exploring my own voice as and have sung as different genres as classical (opera), gospel, pop, jazz, indie and songs in the meditational genre.
As a speech therapist I have taught speech therapy students for 10 years in both voice training techniques, anatomy and voice problems as well as individual voice formation.
I have been educated in psychological voice disorders, stress and voice, muscle tension and voice, rehabilitation and more.
I have worked with numerous women seeking voice authenticity, with professional voice users (both male and female), with business professionals, teachers, professional and semiprofessional singers and actors- and I have worked with voice rehabilitation.

Working with the voice, I have many work tools that I have refined in my work for the past 30 years.
When you chose to work with me we will find the tools and ways that meets your desired outcome, fits your personality and the exercises that you and your body responds to.
It may include breath work, balancing energy, connecting to the body, examining thoughts and feelings concerning your voice, energy work, physical exercises and core tone work, vocal exercises and more.
As voice is inseparable from our mind and body, voice work is very closely connected to our feelings and our vibration and as such can be very psychological and vulnerable.

I meet each individual with a desire to open up their speaking and communicating awareness and skills, working with the tools that resonate with them, inspires and fit their desired intention or use.

The complexity of our voice and our communication is so fascinating and the benefits of working with our voices are profound. Yet it doesn't cease to surprice me how little attention is paid to voice work and its possible positive influence , when I see how much attention outer appearance, exercise, clothes, health gets.

As a singer and songwriter, I have years of experience wit working with the voice.
Before also becoming a speech therapist in 2005 my focus was on the singing voice.
It was fascinating to open up a whole new area of voice for me. Personally I found it both easier and more vulnerable to sing. I took on the challenge to dive deep into my own speaking voice and there are still areas here to explore and develop. As well as I love assisting others in finding their unique voice, I love to sink into my own speakíng voice as well.

Our voices are an important part of a complete communication that carries vibrational frequencies.
